How much Benzene is too much?Dear concerned parents,
We want to inform to help you protect you and your family. We have begun a weekly informational newsletter for you. Our first starts with the recent concern over benzene in drinks and in natural rubber mattresses.
Secondly, we are unique in that we keep up with current research on infant products and how to prevent odds of SIDS. More evidence has come out to indicate that synthetics and some widely used metals combine to create a toxic environment that interferes with breathing of an infant. We manufacture all our products with complete care and attention to those little things that can be harmful. We NEVER package in vinyl, we use care in selecting our environmental dyes, and we use caution when selecting all of our raw materials to choose materials that are free from fungi, bacterias and mold.
Benzene-In Many NATURAL Rubber Mattresses and foams
Recent lawsuits against drink manufacturers have resulted from the discovery that the benzene forming agents in the drinks is over the FDA "safe" limit of 5 ppb. Since benzene is found in many common products including almost all foam and most natural rubber mattresses, computers, drinks, plastics, gas, and many other common products and the amount of harm depends on how often it is absorbed through breathing, contact, or eating, you may get too much very quickly. HIGHLIGHTS: Benzene is a widely used chemical formed from both natural processes and human activities. Breathing benzene can cause drowsiness, dizziness, and unconsciousness; long-term benzene exposure causes effects on the bone marrow and can cause anemia and leukemia. Found in almost all inexpensive natural rubber mattresses which is why we test ours and make sure ours is free from this toxic chemical. Found in the Natural Rubber Cocolatex according to their own test results and sold at a competitors web site.
